ARP Man In the Middle(aka ARP spoofing or ARP Cache poisoning) Attacks in Wireshark
ARP Man in the Middle attacks is also called ARP spoofing or ARP cache poisoning, the idea is to corrupt the ARP table of hosts using bogus ARP replies. The attacker needs to be on the same network as the hosts being attacked for this attack to work. This attacks takes advantage of the lack of security mechanisms in ARP to validate the identities of ARP speakers.
